DUBLIN

Escape Boats is located in Charlotte Quay Dock beside the Ringsend Road bridge. We are located on the barge Zorg Ella at the marina oppaosite the Charlotte Quay Restaurant – the boat is easy to spot. Entrance via the main gate at Charlotte Quay. When you arrive at the dock please wave, buzz or call us as we will need to open the door to let you in

HOW TO GET HERE ?

Walking distances:

  • Grand Canal Theatre: 1 minute
  • Convention centre, 3 Arena, Merrion Square: 10 minutes 
  • Trinity College, Busaras, Grafton Street, St. Stephens Green, O’Connell Street: 20 minutes

Train:

Closest DART station is at Grand Canal Dock. We are an 8 minute walk from the station.
Luas: Spencer Dock is the closest stop. We are a 10 minute walk from there.
Dublin Bikes station: Station 59 is across the road from us on Grand Canal Quay
Buses: Routes 1, 15a, 15b, 47, 56a, 77a all stop beside Grand Canal Dock

Galway

Escape Boats Galway is located in on board the Norrie K boat moored in the Old Dock at the end of the Long Walk in Galway city. There is a big gangway onto the ship with Escape Boats banners on it so you should spot us easily when you arrive. Use the Eircode H91WR8C if you want to locate us on maps or ring if you have any trouble finding us.

HOW TO GET HERE ?

Walking distances:

Trains: All trains to Galway arrive in Ceannt Station – a 10 minute walk from the boat

Boat: You can moor right beside us if you are lucky enough to be travelling by boat! The Aran Island ferry moors across the water from us too so you can escape before or after your trip to the Aran Islands!

Galway Bikes station:  New Dock Street is the closest bikeshare parking to us, a minutes walk from the boat. Check the bikeshare map here
Buses: Nearly all Galway city bus routes terminate in Eyre Square which is a 10 minute walk from the boat. You can check the bus route map here

Car:  Please note that there is on street parking but you must pay for it. Please note that there are two different companies operating the parking areas. The spaces closest to the boat are controlled by the Galway Port Company and the other areas are controlled by APCOA (and their machines only take coins) so please pay careful attention to signage when parking (and make sure ye have a few shillings on your personage to pay!)
