Frequently Asked Questions

Live action escape rooms on board a real boat in Dublin. You and your team are placed on board and have to solve a number of clues and puzzles to unlock the mysteries of the boat and escape. It is an exhilarating and challenging adventure experience for teams from 2 players to 10 players. We have two escape room games – SOS and CONVICTS.

SOS is the original Escape Boat game, and places your team in the engine room of the deserted ship Zorg Ella. You and your team must restore power to the mysterious ship, navigate your way through the ships compartments, solving puzzles and problems along the way, and try to escape the boat – before it’s too late!

CONVICTS is our newest game and places you and your team in the prison cells on board the Convict Ship, Zorg Ella. You and your team mates are about to be shipped off to Australia as Convicts. Can you solve the mysteries of the boat and escape the ship before the Captain returns and sends you off to a life of penury?

Groups from 2 to 10 people can play the individual games (up to 16 players can play the two games at one time). There is an certain element of physicality to the game so unfortunately the game may not be suitable if you have mobility issues.

Also if any of your team is fitted with a pacemaker please make staff fully aware of this before you play the game.

Please be aware that some elements of the game may be distressing for people who suffer from certain conditions. There are elements of the games that involve crawling through tight spaces, there are loud noises and some surprising elements. If you are unsure if the game is suitable for you or one of your team, please do not hesitate to contact us and we can clarify what is involved and if it is suitable for you. In some special cases we may be able to adapt the game to suit players needs.

We can accommodate up to 16 players at a time. Teams are split into groups and play our two games (Convicts & SOS) at the same time – up to 10 players in Convicts and up to 6 players in SOS. Games last one hour but if you have more than 16 players, we can schedule consecutive games so teams are timetabled over the course of 2 or 3 hours. We also partner with a local bar/restaurant and can arrange finger food and entertainment in between games. Enquire by email for further details click here

Sorry – no.  Photography or video recording are not allowed in the room – and the game is more fun without documenting it anyway! We will ask you to leave your phones at the reception before you start the game. We would also ask that you do not share any of the puzzles or secrets of the game with the public as you will spoil the game for others. The fun of the game relies on the element of surprise and mystery so we ask for your understanding in this matter.
