Escape Boats has hosted small and large groups from all over the world and from a huge range of companies for team building. We have had hugely positive feedback from HR managers and team leaders about their experience on the boat – here’s some feedback:
In Dublin we can take teams of up to 16 players at a time, and for larger groups we can arrange consecutive games whilst the rest of your group relaxes in our wonderful partners next door, Charlotte Quay bar and restaurant.
In Galway we currently just have our first game open for up to 8 players but when our second game opens in summer 2025 we can take groups of up to 16 players with a similar arrangement in our partner eateries and bars.

Your team can choose from two immersive games – SOS or Convicts. Your team will have one hour to complete your mission or face the dire consequences! The games are suitable for teams of 2 to 6 players in SOS or 4 to 10 players in Convicts.

So what should you expect from your game? You will be in a real hundred year old barge, working in a highly immersive environment and you will encounter puzzles, challenges and games that you and your team need to solve in order to escape.
We have answers to most of the commonly asked questions about games in our FAQ here but the main thing you need to know about the games is that they are highly interactive, 100% safe and suitable for nearly everyone. There are some physical elements to the game so they may not be suitable if you have mobility issues, but please contact us if you need further clarification on this. There are elements of some tight crawlspaces in parts, and some small rooms but you can leave the games at any time but it might be helpful to let claustrophobic members of your team know about this. Our staff will help anyone that has any issue with any part of the game. Your game will be personally supervised by our qualified Games Masters at all times.
